    Autozone > O' Reillys.

9 times out of 10 the people at O' Reillys don't know what I'm talking about, when I'm using simple or general terms that everyone uses to refer to a part, I've even called it exactly what it was and they had no idea what I'm talking about...

Autozone on the other hand, mainly know their stuff, at least at my local place. And the renting components is a plus too, spring compressors, gauges, you name it.

They sell u the tool...then refund ur money when u bring it back. So if u don't bring it back or break it...its yours. That's how they do it in CA at least. However, if u r going to do that u mind as well get a New tool off the shelf instead of keeping the beat up rental.

started a topic So i went to autozone

    So i went to autozone

Went to Autozone today to buy the gauge for a compression test and apparently....you can just borrow them.
I did have to give the guy cash as a collateral for the gauge, but as long as i bring it back without smashing it to bits it's completely free. I had no idea Autozone did stuff like that, I was impressed/super pumped i saved 40 bucks.
Working...
