people don't listen to simple instructions. this is the type of thing that makes the track seem intimidating to people, when its really not. its safe. just need to use common sense

if he went off sideways and got his wheels stuck in the mud, he would have rolled AWAY from the track.
he went off and then tried it save it, and his rear wheel ate the track when he came back on, making him roll OVER the track.
both feet in, and steer straight off (don't try to save it and be a hero), and come to a stop in the grass, then the flaggers will let you know when you can come back on slowly and controlled. they repeat this several times so you know how to avoid shit like this
