I figured out why he didn't respond to earlier emails. You're probably sending emails to mdsylva@sympatico.ca , which is where you paypal the money. I never heard back from any email I sent to that adress.

However, when I sent an email to mark@dsylva-tech.ca , which is his contact email as listed on his site, I recieved an email within the hour. Just check that you're sending to the right adress and I'm sure he'll get to you quickly.

I just checked my outbox again and I verified that I did in fact send the email to mark@dsylva-tech.ca. Still no response.

alex posted some dyno sheets to show how much better the MarkD was than the JC. Pretty impressive stuff. They are here somewhere - do a search.

My butt dyno says huge gains, no clue as to actual. When your body style came out, Dave I so wanted one but as usual I was vetoed and we got the 4runner.

the thing that sucks is no dyno sheets (which a relative minority actually understand in context) can show the actual improvements in performance that are gained from a great chip when coming from stock or a mediocre (ie JC) program.

partial throttle power, midrange, and throttle response are not shown on graphs, but are definitely present with Mark's work.

I'm low on cash and have to sell my current JC chip immediately but can't do it untill I have the MD in there. Grrrr... how long did it take you guys to get your chip?

Sorry about the shipping delay. And I haven't been on here for 2 weeks so didn't see this post earlier.

In the case of yor chip, I sent the order to have it shipped on Nov 11.

When and order arrives, I send them off to my friend Gary in Columbus Ohio and he ships for me. Usually he has shipped every weekend but for some reason he fell behind and didn't tell me he had not shipped. I realised around Nov 15 that orders from Nov 7 onwards had not been shipped. Gary got busy and was not able to ship. A few times, I also sent him the order list late, as I had alot going on and didn't realise I should have emailed it to him so he has it by Friday. I've made a few changes, including a new email address ( dsylvatech@gmail.com) that Gary can check every night also, so he can ship without having to wait for me to send him the orders.

I am sure this will speed up processing in the future. Sorry for the delays, and thanks for your support.

I plan to have some interesting new chips next year, including a MAP sensor conversion for stock motors. For modified motors, I have a MAF conversion planned.

Gary Derian is his distributor in OH, and i guess is a little behind, so don't hold it against Mark. My shipment from MD was stupid fast. Like I paid him and had it two days later to test out and enjoy. And enjoy I did.

Thanks Robert. Gary send out the chips for me at no charge other than the postage. He's doing it because he wants to help me out and I am helping him with some projects also. Since he does not make anything on this, it's a bit hard to ask him to ship really fast when he is busy, but he generally is quite quick.

(now I remember that I had sent yours by overnight Fedex from Canada, I don't do that anymore as it costs me $28 USD plus about 20 minutes to get the paperwork ready)

                        Hi,

did you order one? I'll make sure it's shipped out soon if you did. (all orders I received have been sent to my friend who ships, and he has got all ready to ship as of last night) Or maybe you are just asking if there is a long wait? There was a delay recently but that shouldn't happen again.

That's basically correct. The mdsylva address was set up many years ago, and the mail arrives on a windows98 PC which recently started crashing when large attachements were received. I could no longer receive email easily from that address. I purposely receive each email address on a separate PC, so if a virus screws one up, I'm not totally out of action.

I've now changed the PayPal address to dsylvatech@gmail.com, and my friend Gary Derian can check it also for incoming orders. Please don't send any mail that requires an answer there, you can use mark@dsylva-tech.ca and you may want to cc me on mark.dsylva@gmail.com. (my ISP has delayed quite a few emails by up to 10 days! but I can still get them from Gmail instantly. )

Also, I get so many emails each day it's hard to answer them right away or all I'd be doing is answering email. I already spend 2 hrs a day answering email...
So if you don't get an answer right away, wait a few days and try again, but you will most likely get an answer without a second try.

Finally, I am on vacation from Dec 8 to Jan 1st, so won't be answering email during that time, plus I'll be in a time zone 12 hours off from this one.

Here they are (below). My chip is labelled "Gary Derian" as he ships them for me.

Alex had stock injectors, so he got the the stock injector chip, with a 7150 rev limit (just for him, not what I would usually ship). As some of you may know, he did pretty well at the Nationals with this chip in September. And Tom Bleh had my m50tu chip in his E36, also with a special rpm limiter.

Yours went out last night. Last week, with all the snow and cold I didn't make it to the post office. My car is stored now and my wife had hers. You will see the chip this week!
