Bought the X5 today, 2001, 3.0 motor, 123K on the clock. All items that are normally shit are still (as of now) either replaced or still working. Have window clips on order and am going to inspect the handle carriers tomorrow. Cooling system is fresh (thankfully)

I will follow in your foot steps next year.

Dumping the 2012 Outback for an '06-'07 X5 for towing a ski boat.

Niiiiice, I was a bit concerned about towing with this vice my truck, thing is, the X5 is actually rated higher, and even though mine is a 3.0, hp is within 10 horses, torque is within 30 ftlbs. probably not even enough to notice. Have to see once I get a hitch on this thing. Gonna be fun for sure.

I just traded in my X5 4.8i with 3rd row seats. 58k miles. Bad gas mileage, and it felt like a ticking time-bomb. We didn't really need full-time 4wd and the room. We got a G35 Sedan.

The next tow-vehicle we get will be a Landcruiser. We used to have an 03 that was awesome.
