I would pay a buck for an E36.

And about newer cars being faster than our E30's... Stock on Stock, that is sometimes true in a straight line, take it to the curves and I'm less sure, take a quarter of the price of one of those new cars, put it into an E30 and I'll be shocked to see them go faster in any direction.

No they rightfully got that rep due to it being designed as disposable car.

The E36 rear suspension is a very nice improvement over the E30's trailing arms.

The M50/52 s50/52 is a VERY impressive improvement on the M20.

The rest of it is ugly and seems to break for no reason. I know, I own one.
