what sorts of bad things can come from dog hair in your head (under the valve cover)

so im almost finished putting my head back together to throw back into my e30 but since it was in my room for so long it has gathered dog hair in the valve cover portion, not like a shit load but a hair here or there in random locations, a pain to remove but what problems could they make?

also what would be the best way to remove hair? only the valves are in the head i still have yet to slide in the cam and rocker shafts/rockers.
so far ive just been removing them with tweasers but im beginning to wonder if compressed air would work.

I'd take it outside and dust it with a butane torch held a couple inches away... think of it as a similar process to the way your would singe the hair off your arm by getting to close to lighter fluid in starting your bbq grill

temping it like that from a distance to singe the hair wouldn't effect the valve springs?

Oh damn. When I first read this on my phone I read it as valve cover and not the whole cylinder head. I dunno about a torch to the head. Maybe some compressed air and a wipe with a rag.

Hit it with some compressed air. Anything that stays will get chewed/burned up once the engine is running. It will take more than some dog fur to take out an engine.

Oh, and next time... Store that thing in a bag.

Can't see how a butane torch would hurt anything before it eliminated a few hairs, maybe an oxy-acetylene, your posts are thoroughly entertaining:)
