    It is bad when you have no driveway and engine hoist...it was about 30-40k range worst part is i was going to place a part order on friday to do my timing belt and some other stuff...

    jogged back with a jack stand and jack to confirm i am missing an integral part of the m20..the timing belt...

      Sucks to hear man. Well, your pistons are probably kissed, but OK. You could always slap a new head on there and hope for the best.

          SOUNDS LIKE A FUEL PUMP. HAPPENED TO ME BUT IT WAS MY WIRING. i JUST JIGGLED IT AND MY CAR FIRED UP.

                  You don't need and engine hoist to do the timing belt. I would find a used low mile head and swap it. Shouldn't take more then a day to complete.

                      yar snapped at about 30-35k ben, yea I am trying to find a 885 head now and hope I can come up with cash for parts lol...and a ride to work for the rest of the week...what a joyus cluster Fuhhh

                            You cannot beat an engine that can be replaced whole for $300. 24v motors do break too, but they are way more expensive to replace in the event of a catastrophic failure.
