me and my buddies out here go to alot of meets, we usually meet up and roll to the meets in a group, sometimes after we go to street drifting or go hit up the canyons. sadly the majority of my cars friend where i live drive 240's and few other japanese cars :(, but they are close friends so it all good:up:

There's a big parking lot meet every Friday night just off the main nightlife strip, mostly haggered Skylines and drift slut 240's but everything goes really. We used to all cruise together at midnight to an empty parkade on the other end of the city but that tradition has worn off in the last few years.

The first meet of the year usually sees 300+ cars come out, it averages around 100 on nice normal nights. The import car culture here is decent, but better in Calgary.

Agreed, I'm the same way. It's relaxing, mind opening, and most importantly it's one on one time with your e30 :D.

Yeah a horse got me in Chico. All he said though was:

"Nice BMW. How many horses under the hood?"

....."Not as many as you'd think, somewhere around 170 give or take. How about you?"

In the mid 90s u could count on everybody cruising Santa Monica blvd, Whittier etc in socal with carloads of people blasting music, getting numbers, girls flashing, etc. Then they passed an anti cruising law and started citing people if they saw u twice within an hour. That combined with gas prices pretty much killed cruising in los Angeles. Now if u do it u have to organize it and u have to go from point a to b.
