What would pay - salvage E30 M3

What would you pay for a wrecked E30 M3, hit on front corner, drivers side. 107k miles Engine and drivetrain are supposedly ok. Anything near the left front fender is gone, including airbox entire strut and bars that connect to it are gone, Also need a new hood, likely frame staightening. Interior looks alright, though dash has been driven back and cracked.

After a lot of work, it would still be rebuild titled, so noones going to pay top $ for the car.
A waste of time?

well see if there are any "go fast" parts on the car and the interior no one really wants a rebuilt M3.

I would tell your friend to part the car out.

That E30 M3 "shell" sold on ebay for like $2500. Remember that?

I'd say maybe $3800?

part it out, its worth around $6k in parts, at a MINIMUM. could go for more with time and effort of stripping everything down and getting top dollar for good parts.
offer him 3k as-is. its not worth much more for the amount of effort involved in parting it out or rebuilding it, whatever you choose.

That ride is toast. Trying to repair that to make it streetable would be an utter waste of time and cash. I say buy it as is for a little as the seller is willing to go, then part it out. You can recover your money on selling the engine and trans alone.

That car is FUCKED

Its totaled 2-3 times over. Shit half the valuable parts on it are anniliated. Someone needs to sit down and rethink the moments leading up to that fuck up and figure out how to avoid such mistakes in the future.

Wrecking e30 M3's should be a crime punishable by death! or at least never being able to own a BMW again (close enough to death)
