corolla vs. e30

US pretty much gave the corolla a bad name, else where got the 20v corolla.

I was expecting a crash thread.

E30's are definitely small, but a lot of this has to do with the angle of the pic. The corolla is closer to the camera which makes it seem bigger than it really is compared to the e30.

I had an 03 civic which is actually 2 models ago and my e30 at the same time.

The size and weight were suprisingly close. The civic was bigger overall and the interior was much bigger.



theres nothing fair about comparing an 03 car to an 89 car. It held its own considering it was 14 years older, in fact considering 14 years it embarrases a new civic. Id rather have an 03 civic ex I wont lie. I got 40 mpg on a road trip with 3 passengers.
But they are the same size. If an e30 came out today it would be smaller than a civic bigger than a fit.

Indeed. All the good Toyotas were made in the 70's and 80's. Pretty much the same as BMW's.
