    Perfect middle ground. That's my dori slut.
    S12 is meh unless you get it with the V6 and LSD. The CA18de is a bit gutless. I do think the Gazelle looks good with a few clean mods, but like the AE86, only in hatch form please.
    an extremely pugnacious, snarly little bastard of a car.

      Some Corolla's can look good but the interior doesn't do it for me.

      Plus the JDMyo drift-tax is pushing the prices way too high, and every one I ever see for sale is a beat to shit example.

        As I said, less than 100kg. Especially once you start stripping the E30. I've easily lost 80kg from mine and always looking for more stuff to delete.
        Unless your models over there are considerably more stripped than I can't believe that. Approximate weight for a pre 86 eta is close to 2600lbs. My 85 318 US spec is rated at about 2500 lbs. an 86 gts sits right under 2000lbs.
        1090kg = 2398lb
        998kg = 2195.6lb

        pretty close across the board

          A stock crappy carbed SR5 being compared to an M42-powered BMW? They aren't even in the same league.

          My AE86 hatch. Sold it 7 years ago. 4AGZE with stand-alone, built by Signal Japan. Full suspension, one-off Excess Japan bumper, mirrors and wing, Watanabes... Miss that car, but the M3 is better :P.

            You are sadly mistaken if you think my S12 has a CA18ET (Stock US), CA18DET (Stock Japan), CA20E, or a VG30E in it.

            Currently KA24DE. Going either FJ20ET or turbo M20. They had the FJ in them stock. Which a VG doesn't even hold a torch to. ;)

              Yeah it wasn't incredibly powerful, but I feel like some light modz, more weight redux, stiff suspension, and it'd be a bomb ass winding road monster.

                Go FJ! Yes, parts are a pain but you can source them if you put the effort in. I'm speaking from experience :D. My FJ20ET-powered DR30 Skyline RS Turbo:

                      in the 80's, everything was similar to e30's

                      Volvo 240's, AE86's, Maserati biturbo etc.

                        This isnt necessarily true. My 84 318i base model only weighs 2300 lbs give or take a few pounds and the AE86 weighs 2300 give or take a few pounds depending on the trim level.

                            One with the torque monster. A F2t. I do believe it's the same guy that did the F20c you posted.
