e36 automatic transmission owners! need your input

Hi all

I was hoping something with an e36 automatic transmission can help me measure this shifter plate? I was considering retrofiting it on an e30 to get rid of the horse hair that gets everywhere

I did this, but I used the transmission out of the E36 and the lever as well. That cover will not fit over E30 lever.

I have the E36 gm auto tranny in my E30, it can beat manual E30 all day long straight line. E36 auto is slow and lazy, but when you put that auto in a E30 it responds great, shifts quick very agile from dead stop.

lol stephen noone on r3v cares about autos search my threads just go to a dealer and ask to measure one of there cars. my guess is it will work w some finessing
