Silicone vacuum hose kit on ebay

Been contemplating picking this up for a while to solve my various vacuum leak problems. Seems like a decent deal. Anyone running these or have an opinion on them? Should I just go OEM?

I know the Mishimoto kit is over 450.00
86.00 shipped is much more logical, no clue if it is well made/hold up well.

If you buy this please give a review and internal pictures of the hose endings. Layers etc

That pretty much the ugliest set of hoses I've ever seen.
Get black or get OEM, this isn't a Honda.

I'll put the review on the first post when/if I get them

Red was the first one that popped up. I'm concerned about how well they work not how they look.

according to them " We have personally put over 100,000 miles on one hose kit with no problems. This is truly an excellent product that will improve your BMW's reliability and performance."

          Let us know!

The Bosch Motronic fuel injection system used on these cars is excellent but it's easily affected by air leaks in the vacuum hoses. These leaks can cause high emissions, poor fuel economy, difficult starting, and a decrease in horsepower
does seem to know what he is talking about

I don't think you need to go OEM with vac line....buy the kit in black and you should be golden

As long as they fit I dont see how silkicon can be bad and +1 for black.

What Im wondering is since when have Cabrios had different anything under the hood

That stuff is generic hose and not formed . Do like 5toes did and go buy generic black vac line for a few bucks and make your own. Personally id buy the OE pieces for the stuff that matters and get generic stuff for the rest
look closely at the ICV hose

Bought a black set for my e30 before I sold it. Nothing wrong with the hoses and they come numbered with a legend so you know what each hose is for, as well as some lubricant to make installing them easier.

100,000 miles is like driving 14hrs a day streight, every day for maybe 3 years. WOW.

How long did it take them to drive 100,000 miles on this kit. Or it's BS.
