    Be careful some 190e's were available with a "appearance package" to resemble the Cosworth. Only way to verify if it is indeed a Cosworth is by VIN# or to look under the hood. They also had a lap timer in the center console, Something the regular 190e had no need for.

    Correction, it is actually a Getrag 275/5 dogleg p/n: 275.0.021.91 201 260 04 01 *717.404 00 014 200 I learned the hard way, the internals are the same as the M3, the one piece case is different. The vin# does decode the car down to the color.

    Cosworth consulted on the motor but only built the heads. The old Ford Vega and Sierra were other Cosworth limited runs. They sold their motor tech to the highest bidder pretty much.

    Fortunately or unfortunately for me, my second auto tranny just took a dump on me this week so I'm converting my Cossie to manual/MegaSquirt3x/EFI/COP in the next few months.
