      ah, the homophobia...

the place certainly went downhill since i sold the touring and a lot of the OG's also departed 3 or so years ago.
but if you have serious questions, just ask. i still remember quite a lot, and all my DIYs and FAQ are still up.

some of the stance works cars are nice some of the classics that are lowered on larger diameter wheels but pretty stock bodies are appealing to me, most i do not care for personally, even considering I was a mini trucker back when there really was no adjustable suspensions and static drops with 1" of clearance were "IT". Never liked stretched tires and "hell flush" fitments myself, been there, done that 20 years ago.

hell, you could even say my 74 CB MGB was "stanced" back on enkei 8 spokes in the late 90s if under 2" of ground clearance , tucking rim, classic wheels (flush enough to require cutting out the fender lips) etc are the qualifiers.
personally I was just pushing the boundaries of practicality and possibility on that chassis at the time.

I agree on the wheels, although if I went with RS's or whatever they would have a proper tire with zero stretch whatesoever.

On the front being lower? Really? ten times better? I just stared at my car for a few moments and I think it would look terrible. I don't understand tucking front tire on a street car.
