    Does r3v do burnouts?

Ppl over on bf.c seem to think ther is no problem and nothing that will break when putting unneccessary stress on a 17+ year old car.

    Does r3v do burnouts?

How many things can go wrong when doing a burn out?

I had a friend destroy his E30 in Highschool doing a burn out up a hill. Didnt know shit about cars so I dont know what relly happened but it would even roll down the hill while in nuetral with no e-brake

    consensus please.

I do very occasionally, but not for more than a second or two. Don't see the appeal in wasting money while simultaneously going nowhere.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

        Not with my RS3's on.

Bottlecaps? All day long, but then again I have my own shop if I break an axle....

Nope. I leave the burnouts for the E36 guys.

Seen a few E36 M3's with the rear strut towers TORN apart! They (BMW) sells the portion of the top of the strut tower for that application!

Wow, so r3v has more sense than the E34 guys on bimmerforums. Thats a first.

Wow, the Ego's here astound me.

Burnouts are not a good measure of sense. It's all about the context with which said burnout occurs.

I'm a fan of easing into wot around slow corners and getting a little sideways. No clutch dumps unless it's raining and smooth pavement. Even then I try to go easy on it. When I was 16 I learned the hard way that Tokyo drifting everywhere will tear up your drive terrain in no time haha

If it is wet outside I tend to fishtail a bit now and then. Never in the dry, I do spin sometimes when I launch at SCCA.

But no, my tires cost too much to act like a kid.

And yes i do enjoy a good old burnout. I tend not to do much any more since the price of tires are higher then they use to be in the past.

I used to do bhrnouts all the time. Then I got pulled over for it. Got a stern warning for it but no ticket thankfully. I don't do them hardly ever anymore as my clutch is getting wore out and tires are fucking expensive.
