So is driving over the speed limit. You like racing, right? What's the point? You just beat the shit out of your car to go in circles and end up in the same spot you started at. ;)

Plus checking LSD option? just jack it up and toss a torque wrench on there.
    Ahem

    paint sucks

Why the hell not. It's impulsive, stupid, and needless. Yet appeals is a cheap laugh every time.

            168hp (in 1987), 2900lbs, no, I don't do burnouts very often, I can't imagine why however...

To be perfectly honest, I just learned how to do a standing burnout about a month or so ago. And while it was really fun, made a lot of smoke, and produced a wonderful smell, I won't be doing them very often, at least not on new tires. :D

I've been meaning to try one. But I'm gonna wait until I'm about to replace brakes and tires next summer...

I would totally do burnouts all the time, but my E30 just doesnt seem to have what it takes to break the tires loose, no matter how hard I try.

Took off the r comps for some sliding... Ended the night with this

I'd much rather have done it in my charger (seems a little more proper) but that's in pieces and will be for awhile.

I do a burnout EVERYTIME I start from a complete standstill in traffic etc.

I have a sticker on my rear window that says "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" .. usually when the cops see my sticker and that I'm about to launch they put the sirens on and clear the road ahead of me.

a good ol smokey rubber stinkin burn out is good for the ol E30 once in a while, kinda like stretchin the legs before a good run....

I always beat the crap out of my e30, that's what it's for right?

this was the last bit of drifting tht was done in the M3 though. pic is about 10-11 y/o, still have the lip hangin up as a token of my bad azz burnout/driftin skillz.

That's a good reminder to take it easy lol. I have the front license plate of my first e30 (that was totaled by a negligent driver) hanging in my room to remind me to always be on my toes.
