so i started off buying a nice 90 325is for 700 off craigslist. i rebuilt the top end and got it running. then about six months after the first e30, i was at a party and i was bullshittin with a bunch of fellas. and they begin to get thoroughly annoyed with me and a fight seemed to be in order. then i started talking about cars and e30's of course and all of a sudden they were subdued and one of them begins to tell me about an abandoned e30 m3 in a parking lot about 1.5 miles from my house. so i go and find the car the next day completely fall in love and start to plan the buy which would be the beginning of the rest of my life. i love e30 m3's the motors are beautiful. and they are beautiful cars. cannot think of a better car. anyway 3 months of trying to acquire the car and no succes. the guy originally told me that he wanted 7500 as that is what he had been offered on it of course i was a semi broke 21 year old. so i went to his door and offered him 3500. of course rememeber that i am a seasoned door to door salesman. i was the top ten in the country every week for one of the biggest lawn companies. so my confidence was high at the time. the owner said no as he had said no to 7500 and i was humbled and realistic life was remembered. now approximately 6 months after the initial tip the car has disappeared and the most beautiful car and the only car i ever loved is gone.
