Cheap, sturdy, and light floor jack?

I have this one and have never had any problems with it. and it gets lower than the 1.5 aluminum one thats why i got it. But this is kinda heavy like 65lbs

those are reliable but there's a reason they're cheap. they suck to use, and they're small. much more likely to fall over because of the smaller footprint.

you want a large, quick pumping jack. those little jacks you have to pump up a bazillion times to even get them up to where you want them, and the jack pads are small and can cause damage easily. I have an extra have one I'd give you if you were close and were that hard up for a jack. I only keep one around so I can load up the balljoints when doing suspension work.

Got this HF aluminum Jack for $60 a little over a year ago, works awesome. Can't beat it for the money IMO. I have used mine quite a bit, originally getting my car on the road, numerous autoX tire changes, hell even brake work I did today.

3 ton Pittsburgh branded. I went and ended up with another jack that the have on sale due to its low profile nature, 2.5 versus 5 minimum height. It's only a 2.5 ton jack but for $75, can't be beaten.

Still contemplating whether or not I should get the aluminum or steel.
Lightweight aluminum is appealing to me, but the reviews make it sound like it seems weaker than the heavy steel and hence feels cheaper.

The aluminum is also more expensive and has less lifting power.

This Craftsman jack looks the same as the HF Orange on I have, just its black.

It's worked good for the 3 years I have had it, it does sit up a little high and is very heavy.
