Most Porsche owners, because if you don't own a Porsche, you're not good enough to talk to them.

Really, I don't care for 90% of the Porsche people that bring their cars in to work. Half bitch about how expensive it is to fix their car (yes, old Porsche owners too) and the other half won't give you the time of day. These halves often cross into each other.

That said, they are great cars, but I would never own one. I like performance sedans myself, not a big beetle fan.

just go and buy a Porsche, get out of system and atleast say you have owned one. If you end up loving the porsche then cool. I always wanted a bmw 2002 and now that i finally have one i love it even if it doesnt run, its always good to look at lol. Btw expect to do alot maintenance especially when its 25 years plus lol its just guna need it nothing last forever. of course people say they its unreliable especially from the 70s or 80s almost everything needs to be replaced LOL nothing last forever

buy it, fix it, drive it, enjoy it, sell it

i have one (83' 911), they are not bulletproof

74-77 - weakpoint is thermal reactor exhaust pulls headstuds out the case
78-83 - weakpoint is lower headstuds corrode and break
84-89 - poor quality valve guides and lower headstuds corrode and break
90-91 - no headgasket on early car, leaks, requires head to cylinder mod
92-98 - good motors, without common defects

930's are similar, just shorter intervals between rebuilds

              Porshe

Audi and VW "Porsches". The 914 was badged VW in Germany. Also, anything newer than 1989 or red. Real Porsches have the engine in the rear. IMO
