      FYI, not only can I cut stickers from spray paint mask, I can also cut designs from cardstock/velum to use as a re-usable stencil. Stencil works well for anything that doesn't have "islands" where as the sicker works better for everything else.

                        back from the dead. but i figured the topic was relevant to the current times


                        used whiteout. previously did this on my falkens and loved it.




                        i eventually plan to make my own custom stental that will use the whole sidewall

                            Dupli-color "hot tires" paint pen turned from white to tan in one day when I did this. Looked great for that day though. I feel like if I had prepped/cleaned more thoroughly, it could've been ok.

                              I made the Dunlop stencil for the tires and drivers mirror out of card stock paper after printing the image on it from my printer. Made the images in Photoshop CS6

                                Tires actually hold a lot of dirt. If you've ever scrubbed your tires with soap and a brush, you will find the soap turns brown from all the gunk. The white paint likely leached all the dirt out, darkening it.
