My lady loves my e30 as well, I think the e30 can be an extension of anyone's character.

But then again, no old car is a "girl's car". Girls, in general, do not like old cars. If a girl is seen driving an E30, chances are it's out of necessity. The Miata is another perfect example. You don't see too many chicks driving around old 90's Miatas anymore, they're all picked up by enthusiasts that want lightweight, nimble cars. I get mixed results with my MR2 from the ladies. The ones who say they like it are probably just trying to be polite ;)
You sir are generalizing all girls in the wrong way. I am a girl and I loveeee my e30 and bought it because I specifically wanted an e30. I also loveee and appreciate almost all old cars. Old cars have much more style, class, and character than most all of the newer cars today.

So, please don't generalize girls as being like this.

My car gets the same response from most girls that even notice it. "its cute" but, a lot of girls look at it because of all the funny/stupid stickers on the windows.

I am a girl and I drive one.

It sounds like the guy you work with is insecure about his manhood. Does he by chance drive a jacked up pick-up truck?

Also, why is it okay for girls to drive "boys cars", but not boys to drive "girls cars"? Are we in elementary school?

There is a hot blonde in my area who drives almost the same car as mine. The only difference is hers is falling apart.

If you have a car that picks up chicks, it'll just hit you in the wallet.

(for you slow ones, that means a hooker)

As once before stated on R3V....... The E30 is the perfect ghey mans car, you will pick up plenty of dudes with it, but chicks will not even pay any attention to it.

Keep rollin the E30, you may start a midwest trend!

hell, an E46 is a poor mans car these days in Germany, you can already pick up E90s for a few grand more than a good E30.

When I started driving (1995) most rich girls were bought E36s by their parents. Girls who wanted to look rich begged their parents for 4-year old off-lease E30s. So, yes :P.
