Unless its a diesel, used MB market is shit. Even if you pull the transmissions is admittedly rare and desirable (if its a dogleg), your potential market is tiny compared to E30s.

Vin Decoding yields a
GL 275 E; MANUAL FIVE-SPEED TRANSMISSION
so yeah its probably a 5 speed dogleg and not a 6 speed.

Rest goes to pick-n-pull for probably nearly what you paid for it

looks rough but for a few hundred you could have a great project and for, really, not that much more, you could have a very nice cosworth. most of the stuff that looks like it needs replaced can be yanked from any 190e, meaning parts are cheaper than e30 parts sometimes.

What planet do you live on? I have been working around e30's since 1993 and everything is more expensive on a MBZ 190e than a e30 BMW back when these cars were new/newer. Thats a fact !!! lol

In my area 190e's and parts for them are dirt cheap. I could buy any very nice condition 190e with near 100,000 miles and crisp paint for less than I could a beat-up e30. but on the other hand, e30 parts and cars around here are very sparse.
