I will never sell my E30.

I cannot foresee any circumstance that requires me to get rid of a car that costs me 37 dollars a month in insurance, and nothing else.

Dont let it go, you will regret it. Especially something that impressive.

I bought an E46 330i as a daily. It's really an amazing car. Very good at everything. Rides well, handles well, likely faster than the e30 with bigger brakes, quieter, better sound system, everything works, etc.

I miss the E30 every day. I drove it on Saturday, even running on 4 1/2 cylinders and fell in love again. Not selling that car, possibly ever.

Is it by chance a red MR2? I've seen one of those around that area. My girlfriend lives off Pecan so I'm over there all the time, just not during school hours.

If you feel that its an upgrade then I don't consider it a regret.

I sold my first 89 325i and yes I miss it, but i sure didn't regret selling it while rolling in my 98 estoril m3 sedan.

Depends on the circumstances. Remember e30s are going to continue going up in value IMO, while newer BMWs are only going to depreciate.

YES! first car, 318i didnt have a radiator, ran crappy and was a 3spd auto. I did so much to it, learn a shit ton, blood, sweat, tears, then i traded it for a camaro. Wasnt the worst thing i could have done, but every car ive had since just doesnt feel the same in any way.

I now have an e28. I like it, but im still wanting an e30 :( I still look on craigslist hoping for my old car to pop up. It did for 500 bucks, but i was too late, someone else bought it.

    Just waiting...

of the 60 or so cars I've had over the last 20 years, there are only a few I regret getting rid of. of the 25 or so E21s, I only remember 1 323i I regret selling.

I actually flew back to the U.S. a few years ago to collect up my 55 Chevy that my father and I bought in 1986 and restored. Shipped it over here and took it back apart???

Don't sell it unless you need to due to finances.

I regret selling my 91 318is track car and my 87 535is. The cars that haunt me the most is a 69 chevelle SS396 that was stolen 4 months after i bought it (first car)and my 67 ford fairlane 2 door that i wrecked. Both of these cars i had about 24 years ago. I still think about those cars everyday.

Coincidently, a buddy of mine just called me about wanting to sell his immaculate E46 4 door for a very reasonable price so that he could get into a E39 540i. So my problems may be solved. I'l keep the E30 for sure if I can get his E46, but may have to let go of the MR2 for space.

Although it's not an E30, I had a VERY clean S13 240SX. I was the second owner, my stepmother being the first (she bought it brand new). I regret selling that car a lot. I have been tempted to track it down via VIN and possibly get a hold of the guy I sold it to and buy it back, but that seems almost crazy.

Keep your car. Why ruin a good thing?
