Take a grand off that price. put stock headlights back in. Sell ellipsoids seperatly.

DONT part it out. Its still a good Chassis.

you're definitely asking too much. think about who's gonna buy your car and plan accordingly. the folks talking about parting the car want your parts :-) someone wanting a DD won't pay top dollar for your car period.

so in addition to the ellipsoids, take the fancy radio out too and put something functional in. sell it and the ellipsoids separately. fix the damn head gasket. it's not that hard. $100-$200 and some wrench time will get your car sold.

Use some electrical tape on some parts and have a she-man pose in stilettos for the beauty shots. Should add $15k to the price of the car.

LOL, to be honest man your car is something an unsuspecting kid trying to get into the e30 game would buy. Some quick advice is go to a pick n pull and find a straight valance if possible and replace that. It's super easy and cheap and you should be able to get more buyers for your car.

While at the junkyard, pick up a cheap set of sealed beams shouldnt cost you more than $30 for the sealed beams and sell the ellips since they are fetch about $150 if I'm not mistaken.

Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money as they say.

Whenever I look at a car to buy, I always figure that the cheap easy fix that is being advertised is really an expensive difficult fix. If it's cheap and easy, why wouldn't the seller be making it? So, I'd knock $1,000 off the top for that. Then if there is body work or paint needed, another $500 to $1,000. This is regardless of the other goodies. I agree with those who say fix what's fixable, pull the pricey stuff and feel good if you come out better than $1,000 - $1,500. Sorry, but take a look at the market. Up here in the Seattle market, that's what that car would go for.

do the HG, install the diff, pull the dents with PDR. buy an i front lip and fix the valance. wash it, take better pics, and then try to sell it for $2500.

personally i think it's worth that, but i'm an east coaster so YMMV.
