I pay roughly 900/yr for the 318is w/ Hagerty, which i set the value and 110/ a month for a 03 Honda Pilot. I'm 28 and have a clean record. Whenever i see threads like this it confuses the shit out of me how people in other states pay like an 1/8 of what i have to pay for insurance! Is it that biased on location? Any insurance gurus care to chime in?

Live in the middle of nowhere (me) there are less people to have an accident with.
Live in, say, NYC, there's a shit ton more people, and thus, more opportunities for an accident to occur.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

I pay around $135/month for my truck and E30. I'm 25yrs old, live in New Haven, CT and have been accident free for 6yrs. (except 3 months ago when someone obstructed my ROW on my bike).

I'm with progressive and my rate is right around $20 a month for my E30. Well above minimum but not full coverage. I have some discounts on my policy though and a ticket within the last year or two.91 318is M50 swapped

I live in urban boston and pay 1400 a year to insure two e30's and a toyota pickup. No tickets, no accidents. Comprehensive coverage on all vehicles. so like 114 a month or something? We used to have state regulated insurance in massachusetts though, so it would have been cheaper had they not deregulated.Comment

Interesting, I'm seeing some lower values than I would have thought. I wonder if it's just FL, or if I'm getting screwed. I've looked in to changing insurance carriers, I wonder if state farm would be willing to lower my rates based off the fact I'm prepared to leave for better rates.1987 Delphin 325e Sedan - Natalie

My fiance is on my insurance, I am 22 she is 19, I pay the insurance -_- and it's roughly 300 a month full coverage on my 1990 325is and her 2007 nissan maxima (which i co signed for). She had 1 or 2 accidents (with a Jeep she had on her parents insurance), I had none.
EDIT: This is with State Farm, who I have been with since I was 17
