I'd say 5k is definitely fair. In my own opinion 6k is also fair. But at 7k it might not sell very quickly. I'd personally price it expecting to be talked down at least $800 during negotiations. In the end it's worth what you're willing to sell it for.
I would have to disagree about the turbo not adding value, it may slightly affect the buyers the car attracts. Not everybody wants a turbo car but hands down it adds value when it has a reliable daily driven turbo setup.I agree about pricing I will be probably start 5000-6000.
Here in the Seattle WA area you would get around 8k for it, i have seen turbo cars in worse shape listed for 8k and my buddy just sold his late model 325is for $5,750... he had bbs lm replica wheels, jom coilovers and comfort seats.. his car just looked clean but nowhere near the mods you have. I would say post it for 8k and if you get no bites or offers then you can lower the price. My buddy originally posted his car for $4,500 and i called him in the morning and told him he's nuts and post it for 6K...
I am thinking of getting out of the E30 game. What do you guys think it is worth? Quick list of things done,H1C on TD mainfold with Monkey Madness adapters, wastegate adapter, rs style bov and wastegate, 3" exhaust with glasspack and Magnaflow muffler, 30lbs injectors, vortech FMU, turbo chip, Innovate wideband, Autometer oil pres, battery, boost. Apex springs, Tokiko inserts and shocks, new rack, 17" ROH wheels with brand new Nankang 215-40 tires, cross drilled and slotted rotors and new pads at all corners, tierods, ball joints, cab, Hid lights, headgasket, timing belt, waterpump, belts ,thermostat, switches ect. There is probably so much that I missed. Car runs great and is plenty fast at 10lbs of boost afr's are great. Runs great just thinking of trying something else. Car has not been abused, I had a goal of boosting an E30 on a budget and have acomplished that, now time for something new. Paint is good and interior as well, black recovered sport seats and ski pass rear seat. Opinions?
Bump from the grave... Still for sale? I'm in the market...
When I see color matched door handles I think cheap maaco paint job that will be pealing off in a year.
I agree, but you know whats funny about that? My buddy's maaco paint job outlasted his $5K paint job 100x over. It just really depends on how the work is performed.
