The OP originally stated it was a 97. I didn't click on the ad because frankly I didn't want to see a 97 v6 muffstain.

I drove my friend's 2011 V6 stang 6 speed. It's an ok car. But it also has 300hp and a limited slip. There are many great choices in that price range, but a V6 mustang isn't one of them.

    From experience.. Don't do it.
The big v6 was a pretty bad engine to start with and prone to little issues. Intake and exhaust gaskets. Water pumps, plastic thermostats, and sensor issues. No i've never seen major issues with it but all the little issues are enough to drive you insane
The v8's are fun and can be a blast to daily. both the 4.0 and the 4.6 have terrible economy so if you're looking for eco, this is not the car you want. Don't look at the EPA, it's very optimistic.
You're e30 with an s50 will be a shit ton more fun and probably get 30-40% better economy with the right gearing. It's a much cheaper solution. Then if you're tired of the old bimmer, it's resale value has spiked to the $6-8k range.

Honestly save up and buy the V8 the power of the 6 will bore you and it would be a waste to build up that engine when a higher end mustang with a V8 will beat it everyday.

You want to be talked out of it. So just don't bother. Don't by it. Obviously you don't want it if you want to be talked out of it.

V6 Stangs are for the elderly and high school girls.

They are ok cars. There is almost no place to let the V8 loose on public streets, but a V6 you can drive the piss out of and have a lot of fun extracting every bit the engine can deliver. Some suspension upgrades and that car would be fun as hell. Its the old - more fun to drive a slow car fast...

Also you fucking suck you piece of shit.

And OP remember this is r3v you're asking. About everyone here thinks a car should be a racecar. This is a V6 Mustang, it's a normal car. Just because it says Mustang, don't mean it's a HiPo car. I suggest taking it for a test drive to see if YOU like it. And or look around on a Mustang forum to see what people are saying about a car like this. Sure you will see the fan boys like you do here with e30 people. But you'll get more honest answers then you would here, even though there was a few people in this thread that did have first hand experience with one. Also i know there are Mustang owners on here too, so maybe they will chime in to.

    A V6? Nah.

Unless you're planning on supercharging it.
