2 doors. 4 doors were just built to be parts cars for later use.

just look at classic cars. Is there really a single 4 door car that is worth even half of what its 2 door partner is?

Cadillac CTS-V. Sedan looks way better than the coupe. Granted it isn't a classic, though.

And structurally speaking, sedans seem to be more rigid with the b pillar being centered more than its 2 door counterpart.

Generally I prefer the coupes cause I don't really like the c pillar trim area on sedans. But besides that, at a quick glance I hardly ever notice if the car is 2 or 4

Both the two and four doors are sedans, so this is not true. Sedans are much more structurally sound than true coupes, however. Therefore why most drag racers prefer "Post" cars. They won't twist up like a pretzel.

But, to the public, a 2 door will appeal to more people. They're usually more attractive, and look more sporty. To somebody that prefers to transport friends, etc, the four door would be more appealing. Also the VIP, stance, I put curtains in my rear windows of my BMW because I'm rich bitch, crowd.

Also the two extra doors just adds too much weight...in the racing point.

So that point...if your selling to the general public, a 2 door is most likely the e30 they've always wanted. If you're selling to a guy with a family or an e30 enthusiast...they probably don't care to much.

I like the look of the 4 door E36 M3 over the two door, any day.

E30s, Ill take one of each.

4 doors 4 more whores. As a college student with the E30 being my only car, having 4 doors makes transporting parts/groceries/etc... much easier and I feel I can fit more stuff. makes taking the seats/etc out really easy as well. I have a 3.73 LSD, aftermarket suspension and 370mm M-tech 1 wheel/ other stuff so the IS reasoning is kinda meh to me. Just need to find a decent price for heated sport seats.

I prefer 2 door E30's. I hate carting friends around so I don't mind having a backseat only suitable for people with no legs. Plus I just like the two door look better. Figures when I was looking for an E30, all I saw was four doors.

I agree, a 4 door E36 M3 do look better than the coupe in my opinion.
