    Long Island E36 M3 2000.00

2000 seems low for a real M3 drivetrain.. Looks like M3 rocker trim but theres a 15" spare rim on the drivers front.. which dont fit over M3 calipers..

Anyway if its the real thing somebody should snatch it up for a swap donor

the roof is cut off so a roll cage can be put in
That's the dumbest thing I've ever read
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

That could be a 16x8 style 5, it is not close enough to really see it.

I emailed him. He says yes its an m3. The front suspension on one side is non m.. hence the weird rim. Strange

Cutting the roof of to do a cage was not uncommon 25-30 years ago so you could weld completely around all the joints amd gussets.

It looks to me like that car was in a rollover though, so it needed a roof. Look at the body damage and how the B pillars are folded in.

WTF? why not spend 2 more G's and get one of those fully intact? all the same color too with an engine.

Agreed 150%. They are getting cheaper and cheaper, every day.

I'd be hesitant of buying that drivetrain, having seen the "donor" car. Can you say "oil starvation?"

He'd probably be better off yanking the motor/trans and selling separately.
