Technically a 4 door will be more rigid than a 2 door due to the more centralized B pillar location.

1)grab a random person and stand them next to your e30 which has 2 doors.
2)tell them your car is sedan.
3)watch them look at you like you are a dumbass, and possibly tell you that you are a dumbass.
4)call your car a coupe from then on.
