    Not everyone carries minimum insurance, but the liability carrier of the transporter will pay if they aren't bonded.

    I had my 86es insured full coverage and got every penny of my stated value when it was totaled.

    Most legit shippers have insurance polices up to $100k (car carries should have more). But, the problem is valuing it. Hopefully they can provide RO's/receipts for all the work put into that car, but they're rarely get it all back.

    Totally sucks, such a sick car but glad nobody was hurt (except the owner who probably had a stroke).

    carrier many times has a stated amount and then you can get more from your private company. Intercity carries million dollar cars all the time. I wasn't the least bit nervous when I had mine transported.
