Guess there will be even less chance of swooping a cl steal e30 now :(

But in all seriousness I like the idea of the site and hope it continues to grow!

Cool Idea. There is a guy who compiled a site like this for the first Mcoupes.

M Coupe Buyers Guide is envisioned as a way for car enthusiasts to help other enthusiasts find their perfect BMW M Coupe

It will be very useful if we send you links of cars for sale in the obscurity of locality. Such as hard to find postings on local craigslist and local websites and forums. Because those cheap project cars can get lost in the depths of the interwebz.

Maybe you can also set up a map with dots where there are e30s. The dots will be different colors depending on whatever variable you want to implement.

It looks great and it's perfect with most important info in title and a nice full car pic. That makes it so much easier to browse through than all the forums/CL/ebay...
                  Really great work man!

Yes please do! I will edit the original post to include a list of sites I currently search. If there are any worthwhile ones that I'm missing then please let me know.

                      Another idea:

why not keep an archive of sold E30s, and (if you can get them), the prices they sold for? This will be easy for ebay cars, impossible for CL cars, and possible for r3v cars. That way, the site can begin to map the value of E30s over time, which will be a very interesting statistic to look at.

Also, it is quite ambitious that you are going to troll CL to add the cars to your site. many E30s are added (and deleted) off CL every day, I can't see how you could possibly keep up.

                        Excellent idea.

Plus you never know - the CL buyer might make his way here and be willing to disclose the purchase price.

I actually stumbled across your site recently, definitely liked that I could find strictly e30's for sale. I like it alot! Maybe add a filter of some sort for regions and whatnot?

I like it. It would be nicer to be able to view/search all ads in one place instead of scrolling and clicking different posts. (Just as lazy as any other person on the computer)

And you missed my FS ad somehow. :(

This is a similar site started by a Z3 M coupe enthusiast and would be a good source of ideas, depending on how ambitious you want to be. I especially like the ratings and that all current listings are accumulated. Also, the recently sold info helps buyers and sellers understand the market better...to help ward off unreasonably high asking prices and absurdly low buyer pricing expectations.

M Coupe Buyers Guide is envisioned as a way for car enthusiasts to help other enthusiasts find their perfect BMW M Coupe

Edit: Just saw someone else already suggested this site. :)
