Is this crease something I can have a PDR guy work out or should I just go shopping for a new door at the yard? Sorry if it's a dumb question, never had PDR done before.

Very similar to one I got and the PDR guys said it would be rough due to the crease. Fortunately, the kids mom wrote me a check for $1200 to not go through insurance

PDR is not gonna rid that completely.
Options are to have it properly repaired by working the metal, skimming with filler then repainting.
Or find a used door and have it painted to match.
Or find an undamaged door in the same color and pray that the color is not a mile off due to time and weather.
Options are listed from best to worst.

PDR could DEFINITELY rid that completely. I have a few PDR guys I use and only one will touch the difficult stuff, and he kills it.
I had a Prius two weeks ago with a crease as deep but half the length, guy did that and another for $100 and it wasn't even the most experienced pdr.
Wish I had a pass side shot of this e39, I got a huge crease worse than that, and this dent on the body line taken out for about $450. The pass side fender and door were horrible.
good pdr guy could prob do that for around $150. New door will not likely match paint. As long as there's no other corrosion I'd say try to save the doorOriginally posted by bluntcan you get me a deal on cases of their (fiji) bottled water? i wash my 02 in that shit

I had PDR done on my E46 but it was two spots on hail damage on the trunk deck. A really good PDR guy could get that out I think but you need to find someone who can.
The car he worked on before me was a late model Benz, the ex or soon to be ex-wife went to work on it with his golf club all over. But she didn't break any of the glass. Some of the dents were deep but not really that big.
Yep I'm a noob and I used "deep" and "big" in the same sentence.
