I wonder if someone has been driving it for a few years and decided to sell it for twice what they paid for it.

            I agree I wish I wasn't 9 years old then i have always loved e30's

I have thought about a 1 series but other the increase in power it still doesn't compare to the e30

It would be awesome to go back in time and experience the heyday of BMW's.

My car is 3 years older than me. But I still say "1989.... that was a good year."

                It probably was.

100K gets you a thoroughbred Group A M3 with the race suspension etc., shipping to the new world, and still have something left over for food.

Yrah they were considered Yuppie cars then, didn't have the fun and enthusiast following they have now. To most they were an expensive small car.

I had just sold my 72 340 Cuda and bought a 73 Capri ex's works car. 80's were kinda fun. Cheap gas came back and hp numbers and exotics were coming out all the time.

                        What's a 959 fetch these days?

This is exactly how I feel, about all the e30m3s. I have said before and I'll say it again. I will take an IS over an M3 any day. I have passed up on good cheap e30M3s, 3 times. Not looking for a garage queen, which is what these cars have become.

I just want to enjoy the car and maybe dance with some beezis. :D

They are not all garage queens, I drive mine in the nice weather and yes they go out in rain. I hate seeing that statement, never seen rain. Yeah right sure it hasn't.
