    my town still thinks it's 1999. There are fewer of them simply because the cars got destroyed by idiots, but they're still quite common. Actually, a lot of them are E36 318i's. lol

    What I mean is that the S2000 (and now FT86) are very relatively small-market cars, and not the real focus of their parent companies. It's quite a contrast to the McLaren-Hondas, Celica GTFours, and NSX's of days past.

    Everytime i see a nice fixed up EK or EG I remember the good old days of basic transportation and the utmost reliablity. I still think the 1999 Civic Si is one of the cleanest looking cars around especially with the electron blue.

    Maybe it's that the Hondas are dead reliable and super boring, whereas an E30 is only mostly reliable and pretty freaking cool. I'll admit that Honda (and Toyota) have kind of forgotten about exciting cars. Doesn't mean they never happened, but I guess there's some bitterness or something. :?

    because many e30 owners unfortunately are here for the hype and most of them are ex-honda owners. I don't understand why a lot of people think that hondas are crap and don't deserve anything good.

    While it may not be your car of choice, Hondas are good cars, hands down.
