I know this is a long way off but I wanted to raise some interest in this meet. Last year I went for the first time and it was a great vacation, lots to see, fun drive, and a good time checking out some sweet cars. This meet is not limited to any certain model bmw, so bring a friend along and mark your calendars!
Based in Pagosa Springs, this is the perfect spot for a mid-west (and by mid west I mean middle to west side of the US) meet with great roads in a tourist based town. Neel and CK who now own the Quality Inn (used to be the Pagosa Lodge) provide a special guest rate and last year provided all who attended a free dinner on Saturday night. Neel has an e28 and e36 m3 he is hoping to bring out to colorado. Last year we cruised up wolf creek pass and had a photo stop as a group. Two came from nebraska, one from Missouri, and a few from New Mexico.
At this point the meet is still gaining momentum and if you have passed through the beautiful area in the summer time, please chime in on the beaty of it. The date is early august. Last year there were T-Shirts and odometer gears also sponsored and donated T-shirts. There were also posters and quite a variety of cars. We had a convoy of about 10 cars from denver to pagosa, including an M1 for a couple hundred miles, but unfortunately couldn't make it the entire weekend!
E12s, e24s, e28s, e30, e32, e36, e90s, z3, and an e34 showed up last year
I will let some pictures do the talking and link you to the website:
