    Rocky Mtn: Large Summer BMW meet/drive, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

    I know this is a long way off but I wanted to raise some interest in this meet. Last year I went for the first time and it was a great vacation, lots to see, fun drive, and a good time checking out some sweet cars.This meet is not limited to any certain model bmw, so bring a friend along and mark your calendars!

    Based in Pagosa Springs, this is the perfect spot for a mid-west (and by mid west I mean middle to west side of the US) meet with great roads in a tourist based town. Neel and CK who now own the Quality Inn (used to be the Pagosa Lodge) provide a special guest rate and last year provided all who attended a free dinner on Saturday night. Neel has an e28 and e36 m3 he is hoping to bring out to colorado. Last year we cruised up wolf creek pass and had a photo stop as a group. Two came from nebraska, one from Missouri, and a few from New Mexico.

    At this point the meet is still gaining momentum and if you have passed through the beautiful area in the summer time, please chime in on the beaty of it. The date is early august. Last year there were T-Shirts and odometer gears also sponsored and donated T-shirts. There were also posters and quite a variety of cars. We had a convoy of about 10 cars from denver to pagosa, including an M1 for a couple hundred miles, but unfortunately couldn't make it the entire weekend!

    E12s, e24s, e28s, e30, e32, e36, e90s, z3, and an e34 showed up last year

      BUMP would the regional section be better for this?

      Or does nobody like to drive their e30??

        Official Date set as the weekend of August 9th. Several have signed up coming from the mountain/west!

              Still hoping to go, but I won't have my new DD for another 2 months. Then I'll have to make sure she's travel-worthy!

                Bumping this, window decal has been designed and is in the preliminary stages of printing!! It is very simple and will be something given out as prizes or to those who show up. Also working with a graphic designer for the t-shirt.

                You will want one of these shirts, even if you don't attend, because the design is going to be that awesome!! Don't forget to sign up on the attendees tab for periodic updates, that is a tentaive list and does not hold you to attend the event, only a source for periodic updates and idea of what cars are coming. Over 30 people already signed up, not included those in the facebook group!

                Also thinking about ways to include the wives and girlfriends so they can have a great time as well!

                  Event is less than 6 months away! This should be an amazing turn out with the amount of interest people have shown. Already 39 sign ups on the attendees tab with people coming from as far as 1500 miles away and more signing up each day. That makes it seem like a hop, skip, and jump away. Event sponsors will help with the event and funding for activities/prizes/bbq. check the attendees tab to see everything from e9 to e92, though we could use an M coupe or e30 m3.

                  Also the window decal has been designed and t-shirt design is in the works. If you liked last years, this one will be even better!!

                            My folks live in ABQ, so I may be able to stay there for a night on my way up... I'd really like to go. Hopefully I'll be able to make it. Should know more as time gets closer
