Has anyone made a Pickup from a sedan shell?

Please tell me it ISN'T possible, or that someone has tried and failed.

I have a sedan shell and have been thinking about such a venture, but I think that the location of the B pillar will kill the possbility (without doing some MAJOR work)

To the OP, google search "e30 ute". Utes are pretty common cars in Australia. Also, relatively common for people to convert cars into utes in AU.
