That power package and other options will push the price right up to where a Radical Motorsports S3R is priced.....only the Atom can be flogged on the street & the track (only the latter applies to the Radical). In the grand scheme of things it still seems expensive.....especially to all us budget-minded E30 owners. If I had the funds for one and a clear space in the garage to keep it I would give this little rocket some serious thought.

A roller with honda mounts in it would be good, because honda motors are cheap and easy to get parts for. (I'm assuming they offer a k-series motor in this? how about that non ivtec one, b-series?)

That would make it a b18(c5). but the 2 other motors offered say iVtec, which is only on k-series engines (RSX, new si's, not sure of others).


If it had mounts to line up with a b-series motor, a turbo b16 will run about 3-4g's for a pretty damn good setup IMO. A built motor could probably be had for 5-6, with a reliable 400+hp

In Germany we can't see the google vids so I had never had the chance to see that segment about the atom. I was realy really skeptical about it from the webpage and the price..... but after watching that.... Holy fucking shit. Its an amazing little car. Its a turnkey racer. Buy that thing fully loaded and you'd hae to do nothing to it to put it on a track and be more than highly competitive. Plus its got the trunk... mmm.... thats gotta room for like.... 1 8" sub...
