I think there is a guy on here that has an air cooled bus with a Corvair swap, or maybe thats e30tech. But anyways, some of them can be cool little vehicles. Personaly i like the ones with the popup camper thing on the roof lol.

Used to own a 71 with a 2.7L 911 engine that Dick Shine did for me in the early 90's. Sold it shortly after arriving in Japan. Local in Hachinohe bought it from me.

As much as I love mine, if I had it to do over again I'd have started with a watercooled t25. The engine build, paired with ditching the dual carbs for fuel injection, brought a good amount of power, but I would love to have the added umph of an ej22 swap, and the vastly more modern everything in the vanagon.

Not to mention usable heat.

Yours looks great. Especially for a high mile daily driver.
