    Have No Fear. . .

BMW has done right. When you can drive a new 325i automatic and highly enjoy the experience, BMW has a future that doesn't end at its pinnacle of the E30. . . . lol. But seriously, the steering was tight, the car was nimble, and power was sufficient. Brake was awesome, and comforts were amazing. There will always be the M3s, M5s, and Z4s, but if the bland everyday cars like 328s or whatever blow chucks. . . what is the fun in that?

I would love an E90 325i Auto as a daily driver. It had the spirit of an E30 somewhere in there. . . not the cold car deariness of a E36 or E46.

I really don't like it... way too big for my tastes... Personally, with a few mods, an E46 330ci would make an awesome DD for me.

It's just very bland looking. I'd expect most new BMWs to be awesome to drive, but that thing looks like it could easily get lost in the pile.

I think the new E90 look really hot. And that they are about the perfect size for a daily driver. E30s are like toy cars - fun for banging around or tracking or being a kid, but when people grow up, they can leave the compact car category. (E90's interior is as big as an E34)

I mean, say what you will about the new designs, but I like the 5 series the most. I'm not saying the new 3 is ugly, but it's not that exciting. The 5 looks really different, and the more and more I see it, the more I like it.

I love E39 interiors... don't like the new 5ers that much inside. The new 3 is like the fun of my E30 + nice interior of the E39 + I like the look outside a lot.

I'm driving an e46 330xi right now as my daily driver.. and it took a bit of getting used to, but i enjoy it now.

I still think they have merit.

majority of e46s (and e36s) i see are beaten, smoked in, cramped, wood trimmed or whatever, etc. and steering are never as great feeling as the wheel was last night. oooooh boy. one of the only perks of dating a dumb rich girl is driving her car

if they are taken care of, and have black or diamond plate looking interiors, and i move the seats back, and it's a ZHP. . . e46s are alright, or even cool. but i drive them all the time and didn't get the impression I got in the E90.

and if it was fun to drive a e90 325, a 130i m-sport is going to be fucking awesome.

Earlier today I saw an E90 330i with the Sport Package wearing a coat of the brilliant silver metalic paint. I have to admit it looked nice. As magazines have been testing this car (as well as the new E90 325i), many have commented how some of the numbness that you experienced in E46s is gone and the driver feels 'more connected' with the car. If this is true, I'd like to experience it for myself.

My sister-in-law has a '02 model 330i sedan with a 5 speed and a sport package. I've had a chance to drive this car a few times and I find the brakes to be waaaay too sensitive....hardly tapping them results in some significant clamping. The steering in her car feels even less connected than my brother's '98 M3.

All the new designs are scheisse, IMO. Im not giving in to my need to like them anymore and "warming up" to them. Not on this one. The 3er is just the lesser of the evils, IMO. But all the designs are absolutely repugnant to me. But hey, they are in the business of making money and need to cater to the people that NEED to be seen and "dynamic styling" will do that and bring over said people. The build quality and electrical issues continue to worsen, but at least theyre making money, which guarantees us that they will do more exploration and risk into producing and developing cars like the 1er and what eventually will be the new ///M Coupe. Enthusiast niche cars. :)

Jon, that is exactly how i would describe it.

It seems like it has a suspension on it already, but doesn't suffer any compromise with ride comfort really. And the steering feels just like with my THR CABs on.
