opinions needed! keep sedan or go vert?

My dilemma, is why put all that time into a car that needs the whole body gone over when I put into a cleaner, lower mileage car?

For someone who doesn't put much weight into sentimental value, this sedan has tons of it.

Sedan. Who says it has to be in great shape to be fun? Mine has scratches and dings all over but it's just a better, more fun car to drive than our vert.

they each have positive aspects like 4ds are good for the kids in DD mode but the verts are good for the sun&fun. My girls love to ride around with the top down. Its therapy IMO like riding a motorcycle but with 4wheels u don't have to worry about some dumb ass pulling out in front of you and u having to slide under them. I say keep and drive them both.

I have had the same issues. I am good at mechanical stuff, but limited experience with body work. Id much rather a solid car with no motor, then a rusty car with a great motor. I drive a non BMW sedan to work all week, so my vert is the weekend fun for me. Yes they can have more rattles, and with the soft top up it is nosier than a sedan or coup, but it is great to have the top down, and the clean lines. I to have had 2 verts, and a coupe.

After much consideration, I'm keeping the sedan.

Stay tuned for lots of vert parts, unless someone wants the whole car. I just can't get past the damage to the rear quarter on the vert. She hit a curb, didn't touch the fender with anything, and yet it is pushed in. I'm concerned that there is some structural damage.

At least I get a new hood and plastic front bumper for the sedan. Then I just need to find someone who is good with body work to straighten out the quarter, 2 front fenders and it will be good to go.

Or I could always trade the vert for a coupe roller. Anyone? Then again, I do like my 4 door... Moar whores.
