How do you keep track of e30 colors ?

Seem lite there was a few different silvers/grays, and what 2 different reds?

What does salmon silver look like?

    (I need a color chip chart....or something!)

my car is salmon silver (lachssilber)...
there are many different shades of each color. When you are around them long enough you just get an "eye" for the colors... I can tell the color code of a car from 50+feet away... just second nature to me, but I see Lachssilber before anything else, as it is practically burned into my eyeballs 8)

I plan on making a chart for my website, but for now I am still working on the layout. Got to make sure it works in all resolutions damnit!

And I need to gather good pictures of cars with certain colors. And try to duplicate the colors using the HTML hexadecimal code. :P

that dark brown/silver looks delphin-grey metallic.

isn't that the bronze/deep-gold color that is uber-rare on E30's?
its the nastiest, but rarest color on a standard E30...

That's Bahama Beige. My dad's neighbor has a 318i in that color and it doesn't look good on an E30.

My dad used to have a 72 gray mkt 2002tii In safari beige.. I liked that color  Don't know why. The old ones ..IE E21 and E10 look good in tan or even bronzit if someone ever was to do that.
