It says "325" on the trunk. When there's no "i" or "e" suffix, it's a 325e. That means it's got a 2.7L engine.
2-door coupe
5-speed manual transmission
Power: 4-wheel disc brakes(antilock), steering, windows, locks.
Manual sunroof
AC - yes, it works. All the vent cables work, too.
White with tan vinyl interior. I replaced the door panels with black ones from another 325 back when I planned on replacing the entire interior with black, but I never got around to it. I still have the original tan panels which of course come with the car.
I've replaced almost everything under the hood (with OEM parts) except the engine itself! And I've done all of these in the last 2 years. It's got new:
-TIMING BELT*
-ALL belts/most hoses
-Water Pump
-Thermostat
-HEATER CORE*
-WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR*
-Starter
-Alternator
-Coil
-Coolant overflow tank
-Leather shift boot
-Leather shift knob
-Both Front Seat Belt Anchors
-Windshield trim
-Front grill pieces (all three), PLUS blackout piece for middle "signature grill" piece.
-Distributor cap & rotor (I have these NEW, but they are not installed).
-Sunroof panel
* = High-dollar repairs. Ones you'll be thankful YOU don't have to worry about in the future!
NON-OEM NEW PARTS:
-High-performance ignition wire kit
-spark plugs
-Radiator
-Rear three window tint ( flawless , less than 6 months)
-Windshield - brand new--no pits at all!
-Hood & Passenger Door paint
-$850.00 Stereo System: JVC AM/FM/CD/AUX deck with 2 USB ports and removable faceplate, two 300w amps, 4-spkr system AND bazooka 2x10" subwoofer box in trunk. Trust me--your neighbors will hate you.
I have all receipts.
USED PARTS:
-Sport package three-spoke steering wheel (I still have the original one--you get that, too)
-Black door panels (I still have the original tan ones, in GREAT condition--you get those, too)
ISSUES:
-The odometer stopped on me at 168652. Typical e30 issue. I would estimate I've put maybe 30K on the car since then so at most it's got about 200K on it.
-Time for a valve adjustment job. It taps.
-Time for new shocks/bushings.
-The bucket seats are weathered & cracked--typical of a car this age. They're comfortable, and with seat covers(included) you'd never know the difference. Back seat is flawless.
-There is no dashboard undercover on the driver's side. No big deal, it just looks funky seeing the wiring.
-The driver's seat back cable is broken, so tilting it forward requires pliers.
