If i had the money, I would buy it. Replace all potentially rotted parts, fluid, etc, and you have a brand new e30 ready to start a life twenty years after ours did. Plus, this car probably has an LSD? Just guessing because it has sport seats. I don't care if it's an eta, mine is an awesome daily driver...
i think the one for sale before was a late model iX in washington, had about the same mileage. Don't remember what it sold for, but it was an 89 iX coupe with the 5-speed
I think that car has been auctioned off before, maybe it didint meet reserve. Neat how it still has the paper ring stating to only use unleaded gas in the gas flap. I still have my original one and its in better condition than that one :).
Yeah ive seen it on ebay before too, I dont remeber if it sold or not though.
I bought my 1984E with 86,000 original miles. The original owner bought it in Germany, toured, then had it shipped here.Has all maintanance receipts from the dealer. I have replaced all hoses, timing belt, water pump, both fuel pumps, brakes, and the damaged front drivers side fender.( Why I got it for $800). The fender was the easiest fix.Now I have been on this forum for a couple years. She is ready for paint-- but all I want is a late model 325i. I had to break in the seats they were so new.I should be happy but I will have to buy an i. No doubt!
No E is worth that price.
