For me it's the opposite. My DC2R has all sorts of idiots revving up at lights, doing flybys etc, no one wants to race my E30 :D

    Maybe it's an Aussie thing.

My two black sedans seemed to generate that kind of interest. Both were lowered/wheels, but it appeared that the color was what drew the moths.

What's funny is that when I used to pull my race car on an open trailer I'd get fools trying to show me what they got. I have to admit, they were always faster than my motorhome pulling four thousand pounds...

I see your wing theory and raise you a Prius theory.

We have a Prius that I sometimes drive: Slow lane, staying with the flow of traffic, always use turn signals, courtesy, etc. People automatically think I am doing something wrong and try to intimidate by tailgating, go around and squeeze into the two car-length space in front of me, pull out in front of me (they are making a right turn onto the main road), etc.

The crazy thing is that full-size lifted 4X4s are totally chill and drive normally.

This is super illegal. At least where I stay it is.

If an officer is in an unmarked car he must be in full uniform to pursue or arrest someone.

Having out of state plates sounds super "not going by the book"

Its like the ferrari syndrome, if you're cruising along at the speed limit so many people drive like dbags to catch up and check out the car, take pictures, wave at the driver etc. obviously not to the same extent when it's a $7,000 bike but I still meet people who think an acura TL is faster than a gixxer 1000. They always have some story how they "beet one in the straights". Not understanding that it is not a race when only one is trying.
I get it, I was just being difficult. Even so, I drive a four door with no trunk add on, no body kit, not lowered and on 14" steelies, but it still gets recognized for what it is. Yet when I ride the old but kind of speedy looking SRX600 no one ever tries to get me to uncork it, nor would I at the behest of a fellow motorist (especially since it's rather slow for a bike).
