Nah, it would hold up in court unless the person is willing to fight it all the way. Best case you create a new precedent. Worst case you lose a bucket of money and get your car removed from your possession.
This makes no sense to me. That no one would try to "race" one of the more well known enthusiast cars which can generally be outpaced by almost any modern sporty car and that people try to "race" a bike that will blow most cars away with minimal effort just does not compute.
