    BMW M67 question.

    Dose anyone know much about m67. Specifically how difficult swapping one into another car.I am just wondering if the ecu would need to be flashed?

      Yeh looking for a daily car like a Nissan patrol y60 or a landrover disco. Was thinking of a m67 swap for more power and good reliability. Though I don't think the disco drive train could handle the m67

        No problem, the M67 is a truly simple device, just pull the pin and lob at the desired engine bay!

        In all seriousness this is why r3v needs a diesel engine swap section. Hope someone knowledgeable chimes in on this neat CRD swap.

          Yeh desiel section would be good. I would lov to see a e30 m67 swap that would be boss.

            That would be a boss ass swap. From what I gather they are very easy and cheap to work on. just not easy to find.

              I drove an e65 for a while that had the the M67D44!! was a blast to drive, the earlier M67s not so great performance wise. I wouldn't touch one of those motors or buy an e65 even if it was free........ If you pull the motor from an e38, I imagine it would be possible....... e65, have fun with the CAN system!
