Dose anyone know much about m67. Specifically how difficult swapping one into another car.I am just wondering if the ecu would need to be flashed?

Sorry I have no valuable input, but this sounds like a pretty awesome swap!

Yeh looking for a daily car like a Nissan patrol y60 or a landrover disco. Was thinking of a m67 swap for more power and good reliability. Though I don't think the disco drive train could handle the m67

No problem, the M67 is a truly simple device, just pull the pin and lob at the desired engine bay!

In all seriousness this is why r3v needs a diesel engine swap section. Hope someone knowledgeable chimes in on this neat CRD swap.

That would be a boss ass swap. From what I gather they are very easy and cheap to work on. just not easy to find.

I drove an e65 for a while that had the the M67D44!! was a blast to drive, the earlier M67s not so great performance wise. I wouldn't touch one of those motors or buy an e65 even if it was free........ If you pull the motor from an e38, I imagine it would be possible....... e65, have fun with the CAN system!
