    Can a g260 be sold for parts?

    I have a g260 with a bad Reverse synchro. Can i still sell it? i need to make money some how :p

      I doubt it, if someone is going to rebuild a trans they'd use new parts over used ones. People do throw good-used parts in their cars, but it would be irrational to throw them in a transmission because of the work it requires. just my .02

        You might get core value for the transmission from DriveGear (they sell rebuilt transmissions), but given that you are in CA and DriveGear is on the east cost I doubt you'd have much left after shipping. I don't know if there are any similar places on the west coast.

          yep. I sold a G260 that was in pieces, he didn't want the bell housing though.

            I'd pull the output flange off of it and scrap the rest personally.

              better off selling it whole. they aren't worth all that much in working condition, little bits and peices are going to be basically worthless.
